Contents of the report
In relation to the decision of the President of Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (“UOKiK”) dated January 14, 2011, which forbade the purchase of Energa S.A. shares by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (“PGE”), PGE, after the initial analysis, does not agree with the merits of the justification of the decision. The arguments in the application submitted to UOKiK are based on reliable analyses, including ones taking into consideration the integration of the regional European markets.
Simultaneously, in connection with the described issue, PGE informs that it will appeal the decision.
