Change of commissioning date of CCGT units in PGE Gryfino 2050

With reference to the current report no. 3/2020 of January 30, 2020, the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (“PGE”, the “Company”) discloses that on July 20, 2023 PGE Gryfino 2050 sp. z o.o. (PGE’s subsidiary, “PGE Gryfino”) signed an annex to the agreement for construction of two new power units at PGE Gryfino (until September 30, 2021 the investment was pursued by PGE GiEK S.A. ZEDO Branch) realized by the syndicate of General Electric Global Services GmbH (leader of syndicate), General Electric International Inc. and Polimex Mostostal S.A. (jointly the “Contractor”).

According to the provisions of the annex PGE Gryfino and the Contractor agreed that the commissioning date of CCGT units is postponed from December 11, 2023 to a date not later than April 30, 2024.

Prolongation of the completion date of the contract is caused by the occurrence of force majeure events, and the Contractor proved to PGE Gryfino their influence on the compliance with the contractual liabilities and possibility of due performance of the contract. At the same time, the Management Board of the Company points out that the change of completion date of the contract does not cause a change of the Contractor’s remuneration.
