Baltica 9 project with the right to cover a negative balance of electricity generated in offshore wind farm and introduced into the grid

The Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (”PGE”, the ”Company”) discloses that the President of the Energy Regulatory Office has announced the results of the auction for obtaining the right to cover a negative balance of electricity generated in offshore wind farm and introduced into the grid (”AMFW/1/2025”) that took place on December 17, 2025.

As a result of AMFW/1/2025 settlement, the right to cover a negative balance of electricity generated in offshore wind farm and introduced into the grid (two-sided contract for difference) was granted to Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 9 sp. z o.o. (”Baltica 9” – a subsidiary of PGE), the company developing Baltica 9 offshore wind farm project with the capacity of 975 MW (area 44.E.1). The net price granted to Baltica 9 in the contract for difference for the period of 25 years amounts to PLN 489.00/MWh.

Expected date of commencement of commercial operations by Baltica 9 is set for December 17, 2032.
