Signing of the agreement for the supply of the wind turbines for Baltica 2 offshore wind farm

The Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (”PGE”) discloses that on April 20, 2023 Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica – 2 Sp. z. o.o., company responsible for implementation of Baltica 2 stage of the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm project (the “Baltica OWF Project”) developed by PGE jointly with Ørsted, signed the following agreements with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Sp. z. o.o.:

- Turbine Supply Agreement, which includes designing, production, supply, transport, installation and commissioning as well as service of 107 wind turbines of 14 MW each with a total capacity of 1 498 MW for Baltica 2 stage of the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm project. The contract is planned to be implemented in the period from the second quarter of 2023 to the fourth quarter of 2027.

- Service Warranty Agreement, which concerns provision of service for the above mentioned turbines for 5 years from their commissioning, including performance of planned inspections, repairs, supply of maintenance measures, remote supervision and other related activities.

- Spare Parts and Tools Agreement.

The entire Baltica OWF Project with a total capacity of 2.5 GW consists of two stages: Baltica 2 and Baltica 3. The above agreements relate to stage Baltica 2. Pursuant to the objectives indicated in the PGE Group’s strategy, the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm project is to be implemented by 2030.
