EXPO is the largest international promotional and economic event. This year’s EXPO exhibition was hosted by the Spanish city of Zaragoza.
One of the elements of the Polish Day during the EXPO event was a conference entitled ‘Polish Regions – Spanish Regions’. PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna was one of the organisers of the thematic block ‘Renewable Energy in Poland – Market Potential and Practical Examples’, as part of a conference organised by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce. The conference was an opportunity for exchange of experiences and views on regional development and renewable energy sources.
The objective of the panel was to promote renewable energy and present opportunities for Polish-Spanish cooperation. The conference was also attended by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak, Marcelino Iglesias Ricou, governor of the Aragon region, Polish Environment Minister Maciej Nowicki, Polish Minister of Regional Development Elżbieta Bieńkowska, PARP President Danuta Jabłońska, Mazovia Province Marshal Adam Struzik, and Małopolska Province Marshal Marek Nawara.
